ABOUT THE TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND
Trust for Public Land is a national non-profit organization that creates parks and protects land for people, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come. Our Texas office is working to ensure that every resident of the Lone Star State has close-to-home access to parks, trails, and the outdoors. As a part of this program, the Trust for Public Land is embarking on an ambitious plan to develop the Five Mile Creek Greenbelt, a network of parks and trails across southern Dallas. Once complete, the Greenbelt will encompass three new parks, over a dozen miles of new trails, and hundreds of acres of land protected as natural space.
Our Dallas office is seeking an organized and talented Project Manager to work on the Five Mile Creek Greenbelt. Reporting to the Parks and Schoolyards Director, this position will play a lead role in bringing to life the Five Mile Creek Greenbelt. This unique position will have a wide set of responsibilities including overseeing design and development of parks and trails within the Five Mile Creek Greenbelt, managing design and construction consultants, and leading community engagement activities.
Come be a part of an extraordinary organization that has created more than 5,000 parks, protected 3 million acres of natural areas, generated $80 billion for parks and conservation, and help put more than 8 million people within a 10-minute walk of a park.

With billions of dollars of federal funding available over the coming years and a city bond program expected in 2024, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to complete the Five Mile Creek vision.
TPL is seeking a full-time Project Manager to support the Five Mile Creek Greenbelt. This position will require strong teamwork and close collaboration with the entire Texas program, including other program staff, philanthropy staff, marketing, legal, and others across the organization.
