Marketing Project Coordinator - Location Flexible

The Trust for Public Land – a national leader and innovator in land conservation and parks creation – seeks a new Marketing Project Coordinator.  The Coordinator may be located anywhere in the U.S. and can work fully remotely or in a TPL office if one is accessible.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Marketing Project Coordinator to join our growing Marketing Planning & Operations team. They will work closely with our digital, creative, and content teams to manage project timelines and oversee project schedules and tasks. They will coordinate with project leads, marketing directors and individual contributors to track against expected progress milestones, final due dates, and deliverables lists to ensure projects are
completed on time. The Project Coordinator will utilize project management systems and tools to build project flows, support project planning, and adjust schedules as needed. This role will report in to the Associate Director of Marketing Planning & Operations and work collaboratively with the Sr Project Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team leads to develop and track against execution plans tied to marketing projects, priorities and campaigns.
  • Serve as the day-to-day tactical point of contact for internal teams on project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate workplan and progress to all stakeholders and resolve timeline issues as needed.
  • Leverage Asana to build tasks and workflows, monitoring projects from start to finish.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings for checkpoints throughout the project process: take notes at these meetings and distribute to internal teams to track next steps and decisions made.
  • Create and maintain weekly status reports to share with project leads and marketing directors to keep them up-to-date on all projects.
  • Coordinate approval process with stakeholders or project leads and creative, digital, content teams.
  • Proactively follow-up with stakeholders, contributors and project leads on next steps and deliverables in project management workflows to ensure due dates and timelines are meet.
  • Support Sr Project Manager in trafficking requests amongst the team and inter-departmental requests, and questions and requests coming from the broader organization.
  • Support Sr Project Manager in managing departmental merchandise requests and our relationships with external merchandise vendors.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of project coordination experience (or equivalent) required. Marketing agency or internal marketing background preferred.
  • Knowledge of creative process for marketing campaign development is a plus.
  • Technical proficiency in a department-wide project management system, Asana preferred
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Collaborative, team player with a self-starter attitude


As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for Trust for Public Land’s comprehensive benefits program which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, three weeks of vacation annually plus ten holidays, and a 403(b) retirement plan, currently with a 5.5% company matching. We anticipate an offer between $24.04-$28.85/hour ($50,000-$60,000 annualized).
